Check out First Grade's farm paintings! They are studying the Great Depression and Grant Wood, using "American Gothic" as a jumping off point. They are learning about foreground, middle ground, and background, and working on the proper usage of watercolor paints. They are featuring a farm animal and the habitat in which their animal might live. They are making amazing artworks and can tell you all about Grant Wood!

- What did he use for art supplies when he was a boy?
- What is the Great Depression?
- How did Grant Wood's art help America?
